Matthew Peterson, of counsel to the law firm of Clapp, Peterson, Tiemessen, Thorsness, and Johnson, was recently inducted as the first Alaska member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN).

Membership is by invitation only after peer nomination and review, and is limited to attorney arbitrators and mediators who have proven experience in the field and met stringent practice criteria.

Matt Peterson is an AV rated attorney with over 30 years of experience in trials of complex civil cases throughout Alaska. Over the past several years, he has limited his practice to mediation and arbitration of civil litigation matters. He has handled mediations and arbitrations of complex civil lawsuits, including personal injury, wrongful death, and professional malpractice, as well as corporate, commercial, insurance, and business matters. He conducts mediations in Anchorage and throughout the state of Alaska. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and has been recognized by other professional groups.
